Lucky number 7?

Well, the Royals did it today again. Lost. Number 7 in a row. Perhaps it was just wishful thinking that my team could rise from the dead today... on Easter...and win a game. No such luck. This losing streak follows the same pattern as last year's 19 game losing streak...2 of 3 from the Chicago White Sox, a sweep from the Yankees (stupid Yankees), and a sweep from the Devil Rays. Based on the past few years, and the type of play recently (mostly the pitching) this stretch of losing doesn't look good. I guess I'll just keeping wishing, hoping, and praying.

That's why it's called being a fan...the eternal fountain of hope never runs dry.
